About Iron Cadence
A strength club that started in a garage
We’re coaches and lifters who wanted training to feel less intimidating and a lot more fun.
How it started
Iron Cadence started in a small Columbus garage gym with one barbell, a whiteboard, and a handful of friends who kept asking the same questions. How deep should I squat? Why does my back hurt when I deadlift? What do I do after the beginner program runs out?
We started writing the answers down, filming the cues that worked, and checking in on each other’s progress. That turned into courses, then coaching, and then a community of lifters who show up for each other.
What we believe
- Technique comes first. Good form keeps you lifting for decades, so we teach it before we add weight.
- Progress should be visible. Every program has clear numbers to hit, so you can see yourself getting stronger.
- Nobody should lift alone. A crew that cheers your PRs makes it much easier to keep going.
